Falciout Kit is an antimalarial medicine and is used to treat malaria. It kills the infection-causing parasite and stops the further spread of the infection in the body. Do not use this medicine for treating any other condition without consulting your doctor.

Falciout Kit is a combination of three medicines: Artesunate, Sulphadoxine and Pyrimethamine which treat malaria. Artesunate and Pyrimethamine are antiparasitic medicines which work by increasing the levels of haeme in the blood, a substance toxic to the malarial parasite. This kills the parasite and stops the infection from spreading. Sulphadoxine is an antibiotic which stops the bacteria from producing folic acid, a nutrient required for bacterial multiplication.

Pregnancy

Falciout Kit is prescribed for the treatment of malaria. It is advisable to drink plenty of fluids and a healthy diet while taking the medicine. It may cause dizziness. Do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how the medicine affects you. Falciout Kit should be taken with food or drinks enriched with fat such as milk. Inform your doctor if you have anemia. Inform your doctor if you notice flu-like symptoms such as chills, fever, muscle pains, and any changes in a heartbeat. You may be asked for a regular blood test once a week while taking this medicine.
