How it works
How Duraten Tablet works Duraten 1mg Tablet is an alpha-blocker. It lowers blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels. It also relaxes the muscles around the bladder exit and prostate, which makes it easier to urinate.
Not Safe: Consuming alcohol with Duraten 1mg Tablet may lead to excessive drowsiness.
Duraten 1mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Doctor consultation is advised.
Duraten 1mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Duraten 1mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Duraten 1mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Duraten 1mg Tablet is recommended.However, talk to your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease.
Duraten 1mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Duraten 1mg Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.Use of Duraten 1mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
What if I forget to take it?
If you forget a dose of Duraten 1mg Tablet , simply continue with your regular schedule and do not take a double dose.
