Decolic 80 mg/NA Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Diazepam and Dicyclomine. Diazepam is a benzodiazepine. It works by increasing the action of GABA, a chemical messenger which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain. Dicyclomine works by relaxing the muscles in your stomach and gut (intestine). It stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms) which in turn relieves cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort.

Alcohol

Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Decolic 80 mg/NA Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.

Pregnancy

Seek medical advice from your doctor: Decolic 80 mg/NA Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.

Breast feeding

Seek medical advice from your doctor: Decolic 80 mg/NA Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.

Driving

Not Safe: Decolic 80 mg/NA Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Decolic 80 mg/NA Tablet can make you sleepy, forgetful, and have poor co-ordination. This may affect your ability to drive.

Kidney

Caution Advised: Decolic 80 mg/NA Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Decolic 80 mg/NA Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.

Liver

Caution Advised: Decolic 80 mg/NA Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Decolic 80 mg/NA Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.

If a dose of Decolic 80 mg/NA Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

Decolic 80 mg/NA Tablet helps relieve abdominal cramps and pain. It is generally recommended that you take Decolic 80 mg/NA Tablet when you notice the first sign of pain. Dry mouth may occur as a side effect. Frequent mouth rinses, good oral hygiene, increased water intake and sugarless candy may help. If you develop any new symptoms, or if your symptoms get worse, make an appointment to see your doctor for further advice.
