How to use
Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Parexel Tablet can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.
How it works
Parexel Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Diazepam and Dicyclomine. Diazepam is a benzodiazepine. It works by increasing the action of GABA, a chemical messenger which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain. Dicyclomine works by relaxing the muscles in your stomach and gut (intestine). It stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms) which in turn relieves cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Parexel Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.
Seek medical advice from your doctor: Parexel Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.
Seek medical advice from your doctor: Parexel Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Not Safe: Parexel Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Parexel Tablet can make you sleepy, forgetful, and have poor co-ordination. This may affect your ability to drive.
Caution Advised: Parexel Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Parexel Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.

What if I forget to take it?
If a dose of Parexel Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
