In Treatment of Parasitic infections Bcd Tablet helps treat parasitic worm infections. It works by killing and stopping the further growth of parasites causing the infection. This medicine usually makes you feel better quite quickly. However, you should continue taking it as long as it is prescribed even when you feel better, to make sure that all parasites are killed and do not become resistant.
The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them.
Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Bcd Tablet can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.
Bcd Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Bromhexine, Cetirizine and Diethylcarbamazine which treat parasitic infections. Bromhexine is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Cetirizine is an antiallergic which decreases the raised eosinophil count (white blood cells) and controls allergic symptoms like cough and breathlessness. Diethylcarbamazine is an antiparasitic which decreases the muscular activity and causes paralysis of the worms.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Bcd Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.

Caution Advised: Bcd Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Bcd Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease. May cause excessive sleepiness in patients with end stage kidney disease.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Bcd Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Bcd Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Doctor consultation is advised.
If a dose of Bcd Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
