It also helps to manage short term symptoms such as back pain, toothache or pain in the ear and throat. It works by reducing substances in the body that cause pain and swelling. Avimol M Tablet also reduces fever associated with any painful conditions. This medicine does not cause acidity due to the presence of Magnesium oxide in it.

How Avimol M Tablet works Avimol M Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Ibuprofen, Paracetamol and Magnesium Oxide which relieve pain. Ibuprofen is a non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID) and Paracetamol is an antipyretic (fever reducer). They work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and fever. Magnesium Oxide is an inorganic salt which reduces the amount of acid in the stomach and prevents damage to the stomach lining caused by Ibuprofen.

Alcohol

Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Avimol M Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.

Pregnancy

Avimol M Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Doctor consultation is advised.

Breast feeding

Avimol M Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.

Driving

Avimol M Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.

Kidney

Avimol M Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Avimol M Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.Use of Avimol M Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease. Long term use of this medicine can affect the kidney function.

Liver

Avimol M Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Avimol M Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.However, the use of Avimol M Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.

If a dose of Avimol M Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

Avimol M Tablet is given to treat various painful conditions. Stick to simple meals and avoid spicy rich food in order to avoid feeling sick (nausea). Drink plenty of water while taking it. Do not take indigestion remedies (antacids) within two hours of taking this medicine. Do not take it with any other pain medicine without asking your doctor first.
