How it works How it works

Atocor N 10mg/375mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Atorvastatin and Vitamin B3(Nicotinic Acid) which treat high cholesterol. Atorvastatin is a lipid-lowering medication (statin). It works by blocking an enzyme (HMG-Co A-reductase) that is required in the body to make cholesterol. It thus lowers "bad" cholesterol (LDL), triglycerides and raises "good" cholesterol (HDL). Vitamin B3(Nicotinic Acid) is a form of vitamin B which further raises the levels of "good cholesterol" (HDL).Atocor N 10mg/375mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Atorvastatin and Vitamin B3(Nicotinic Acid) which treat high cholesterol.
