Atherochek 5 Tablet is a combination of five medicines: Atorvastatin, Methylcobalamin, Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) and Folic Acid. Atorvastatin is a lipid-lowering medicine which works by blocking an enzyme (HMG-Co A-reductase) that is required to make cholesterol. It thus lowers "bad" cholesterol (LDL), triglycerides and raises "good" cholesterol (HDL). Methylcobalamin, Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) and Folic Acid provide essential nutrients.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Atherochek 5 Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.
Not Safe: Atherochek 5 Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Atherochek 5 Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
SAFE - Atherochek 5 Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.

If a dose of Atherochek 5 Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
