Ashley Calamine 10% Lotion is used for the treatment of dermatitis and itching. It relieves pain and discomfort caused by minor skin irritations. It also soothes the skin by causing a cooling sensation.Ashley Calamine 10% Lotion is for external use only. You should always use it exactly as your doctor has told you. The affected area should be clean and dry before application. Prior to and following application of this medicine, ensure thorough hand washing. This medicine should be used regularly to get the most benefit from it. Do not use more than you need as it will not clear your condition faster and some side effects may be increased. If your condition goes on for longer than four weeks or gets worse at any time, let your doctor know. You can help this medication work better by keeping the affected areas clean.Always shake the bottle well before applying and apply it to the area evenly. Avoid getting it on the mouth, eyes, or nose. In case of accidental ingestion, contact your doctor for guidance. This medicine is generally safe and does not usually cause any side effects. However, seek immediate medical attention if you experience any severe allergic reactions after using the medicine.Consult your doctor if the condition worsens or does not improve within 7 days. Ask a doctor before using it on children 6 months of age.
