Zincold Plus Tablet is used to treat common cold symptoms. It provides relief from allergic symptoms like runny nose, sneezing, watery eyes, and congestion or stuffiness of the nose.Zincold Plus Tablet works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation. It should be taken with food. The dose and duration will depend on what you are using it for and how well it helps your symptoms. Use it regularly and do not discontinue using it until the doctor tells you it is alright to stop.It may cause side effects like nausea, vomiting, dryness in mouth, insomnia, and diarrhea in some patients. If you experience any of such side effects that do not go away or get worse, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing them. In general, you should try to use the smallest amount necessary to control your symptoms.Before using the medicine, you should tell your doctor if you have any other illnesses or disorders. It may also affect, or be affected by, some other medicines you are using so let your doctor know all the other medicines you are taking. It should be used with caution in patients who are alcoholic or have liver or kidney disease. This medicine is very widely used and very rarely causes side effects if taken at the right dosage. To obtain the maximum benefit, follow the prescribed instructions precisely. Refrain from surpassing the prescribed dosage or duration, as it could potentially endanger your health. In general, you should take the lowest dose that works, for the shortest possible time. In Treatment of Fever Zincold Plus Tablet is also used to reduce a high temperature (fever). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause fever. It may be prescribed alone or in combination with another medicine. You should take it regularly as advised by your doctor.

Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medications for cold. Along with taking Zincold Plus Tablet do the following simple tips at home to get relief:Steam inhalation.Gargling with warm saltwater.Apply vapor rubs on chest, back if needed. Take enough rest.Take warm food and fluid only. Ensure adequate fluid intake.Advise hygiene measures to reduce spread: frequent hand-washing, avoiding sharing towels, pillowcases, etc.
