Additionally, proper control of diabetes can also reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke. Taking this medicine regularly along with proper diet and exercise will help you live a normal, healthy life. You should keep using this medicine for as long as it is prescribed because it is protecting your future health.

WINDAMET 2MG TABLET is a combination of two antidiabetic medicines: Rosiglitazone and Metformin. Rosiglitazone is a thiazolidinedione which works by increasing the body's sensitivity to insulin. Metformin is a biguanide. It works by lowering sugar production in the liver, delaying sugar absorption from intestines and increasing the body's sensitivity to insulin.

Use of WINDAMET 2MG TABLET is, however, not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease. Regular monitoring of kidney function test is advisable while you are taking this medicine.
Caution Advised: WINDAMET 2MG TABLET should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of WINDAMET 2MG TABLET may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. WINDAMET 2MG TABLET is generally started with low dose in patients with mild to moderate liver disease and its use is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
