It is used for deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism and stroke prevention. Warf 10mg Tablet should be taken as advised by the doctor. You may take it with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time. This medicine should not be stopped abruptly without consulting the doctor. You should take this medicine regularly to get the most benefit, even if you feel fine. It is preventing future harm. Use of this medicine may increase your risk of bleeding. Let your doctor know immediately if you see pinpoint rash or blood in your vomits, urine, or stool. If you are going under any surgery or dental treatment then you may need to stop this medicine for some time but only after consulting with your doctor. Before taking it, you must inform the doctor if you are suffering from any kidney or liver disease. Also, let your doctor know if you are pregnant or breastfeeding and about all the other medications that you are taking regularly.

In Prevention of Blood clots Warf 10mg Tablet blocks a substance in the body which is involved in blood clotting. Although it does not ?dissolve? blood clots, it can prevent them from getting bigger so your body can dissolve them over time. It will also prevent new ones from forming. It keeps your blood flowing freely around your body and makes it less likely that a clot will form inside a blood vessel. This can help prevent or reduce damage caused by stroke, clots in your lungs (pulmonary embolism) or other blood vessels (thrombosis). It can also make it less likely that parts of a clot will break off and travel to other parts of the body. You should take Warf 10mg Tablet regularly and make appropriate lifestyle changes to help this medicine be effective.
The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them.
Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Warf 10mg Tablet can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time. Avoid Warf 10mg Tablet with Vitamin K rich food such as spinach, collards, broccoli, spring onions, cucumber and dried basil.

Alcohol
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Warf 10mg Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.
Pregnancy
Not Safe: Warf 10mg Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.
Breast feeding
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Warf 10mg Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
Driving
SAFE - Warf 10mg Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Kidney
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Warf 10mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Warf 10mg Tablet is recommended. However, talk to your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease. Regular blood tests are recommended when you are taking this medicine.
Liver
Caution Advised: Warf 10mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Warf 10mg Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.
If you forget a dose of Warf 10mg Tablet , simply continue with your regular schedule and do not take a double dose.
Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C
Avoid making sudden major changes to your diet during treatment with this medicine. Do not consume alcohol while taking Warf 10mg Tablet as this may increase its side effects. If you are going to have a surgery or dental treatment, you may be asked to stop taking Warf 10mg Tablet temporarily. Do not discontinue use without consulting your doctor as this may increase your chances of having another heart attack or stroke.
