In Bacterial infections Vvs 3 Injection works by killing bacteria which can cause bacterial infections. It is used to treat many different types of bacterial infections. It is given by a doctor or nurse into a vein and should not be self-administered. How it works
Vvs 3 Injection is a combination of two medicines: Cefepime and Sulbactam. Cefepime is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Sulbactam is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which blocks the action of enzymes produced by bacteria to inactivate cefepime. Addition of Sulbactam reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Cefepime against bacteria.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Vvs 3 Injection as it is deemed unsafe.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Vvs 3 Injection is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Vvs 3 Injection is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
Not Safe: Vvs 3 Injection may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.
