Visumab 0.5mg Injection helps prevent this damage caused by diabetes and stops the worsening of vision. Wet age-related macular degeneration is an eye disorder that causes blurred vision or a blind spot in your visual field due to abnormal blood vessels that leak fluid or blood into the macula. This leads to vision problems. Visumab 0.5mg Injection helps prevent leakage of such abnormal blood vessels and therefore prevents vision loss. How Visumab Injection works Visumab 0.5mg Injection is an anti-angiogenic medication. It works by blocking a protein called vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). This stops the growth and leakage of abnormal blood vessels in the eye(s) that may cause vision loss.

Alcohol

Consult your Doctor: Please consult your doctor regarding the safety of consuming alcohol with Visumab 0.5mg Injection . Experts have not found evidence of alcohol impairing the effectiveness of the medicine.

Pregnancy

Visumab 0.5mg Injection may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Doctor consultation is advised.

Breast feeding

Visumab 0.5mg Injection is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.

Driving

Visumab 0.5mg Injection may cause blurring of your vision for a short time just after its use. Do not drive until your vision is clear.

Kidney

Liver

Store in a refrigerator (2 - 8�C). Do not freeze.

It may cause temporary visual disturbances. Don't drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how Visumab 0.5mg Injection affects you. Inform your doctor if you experience increased eye pain and redness, blurred or decreased vision, or increased sensitivity to light. Wear sunglasses if your eyes feel sensitive to light Use eye drops if they are prescribed to you by your doctor. Ask your doctor if you should avoid any particular activities. Try to rest your eyes as much as possible (for at least a few hours).
