It works by blocking an enzyme (HMG-Co A-reductase) that is required in the body to make cholesterol. It thus lowers "bad" cholesterol (LDL), triglycerides and raises "good" cholesterol (HDL). Coenzyme Q10 is added as correcting its deficiency helps relieve muscle pain induced by Atorvastatin.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with UBISTATIN 10MG/10MG TABLET as it is deemed unsafe.
Not Safe: UBISTATIN 10MG/10MG TABLET is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.
