How it works
Tufcid ON Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Pantoprazole and Ondansetron. Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps in the relief of acid-related indigestion and heartburn. Ondansetron is an antiemetic (anti-nausea medicine). It inhibits the action of serotonin, a chemical messenger that can trigger nausea and vomiting.
Caution: It is important to consult your doctor regarding alcohol consumption while taking Tufcid ON Tablet .
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Tufcid ON Tablet is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Tufcid ON Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Not Safe: Tufcid ON Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Tufcid ON Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Tufcid ON Tablet is recommended. However, inform your doctor if you have an underlying kidney disease. Limited information is available in patients taking this medicine for more than one day.

What if I forget to take it?
