In Neuropathic pain Tryptobal Tablet is a combination of medicines used to treat long-lasting (chronic) pain caused by nerve damage due to diabetes, shingles or spinal cord injury. It reduces pain and its associated symptoms such as mood changes, sleep problems, and tiredness. It interferes with pain signals that travel through the damaged nerves and the brain and gives relief from nerve pain. It also contains nutritional supplements that improve nerve conduction.
The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them.
Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Tryptobal Tablet can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.
Tryptobal Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Amitriptyline and methylcobalamin. Amitriptyline is a tricyclic antidepressant which increases the levels of chemical messengers (serotonin and noradrenaline) that stop the movement of pain signals in the brain. Methylcobalamin is a form of vitamin B which helps in the production of myelin, a substance that protects nerve fibres and rejuvenates damaged nerve cells. Together, they relieve neuropathic pain (pain from damaged nerves).

Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Doctor consultation is advised.

Caution Advised: Tryptobal Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Tryptobal Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of Tryptobal Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
If a dose of Tryptobal Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
