Torex-SF Syrup will also relieve allergy symptoms like watery eyes, sneezing, runny nose or throat irritation. Torex-SF Syrup usually starts to work within a few minutes and the effects can last up to several hours. Along with medications, steam inhalation with few drops of eucalyptus oil can loosen mucus and reduce congestion. This will make you feel better.

Torex-SF Syrup is a combination of four medicines: Diphenhydramine, guaifenesin, bromhexine and ammonium chloride which relieve cough. Diphenhydramine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Guaifenesin and ammonium chloride are expectorants which decrease the stickiness of mucus (phlegm) and help in its removal from the airways. Bromhexine is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out.

Alcohol

Pregnancy

Driving

If a dose of Torex-SF Syrup is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Torex-SF Syrup relieves cough that is accompanied with mucus. Drink extra fluids to help loosen the congestion and lubricate your throat while you are taking this medication. It may cause dizziness and sleepiness. Do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how it affects you. If you are diabetic, monitor your blood glucose regularly while taking this medicine. Inform your doctor if you have a history of thyroid or heart disease. Stop taking Torex-SF Syrup and inform your doctor if your cough persists for more than 1 week, tends to recur, or is accompanied by a fever, rash or persistent headache.
