How it works
Sopor 5mg Tablet is a benzodiazepine. It works by increasing the action of a chemical messenger (GABA) which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.

However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.

Not Safe: Sopor 5mg Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Sopor 5mg Tablet may cause side effects such as reduced alertness, confusion, tiredness, dizziness, poor muscle coordination and double vision. This may affect your ability to drive.
Caution Advised: Sopor 5mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Sopor 5mg Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.

What if I forget to take it?
If a dose of Sopor 5mg Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
