It also blocks chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain sensation. This helps to treat abdominal pain (or stomach pain) as well as cramps, bloating and discomfort. To obtain the maximum benefit, follow the prescribed instructions precisely. You may also use a heating pad, take a hot water shower, avoid stress and try mild exercise for easing out the pain. Eventually, it will help you to go about your daily activities more easily and have a better, more active, quality of life.

It works by relaxing the muscles in your stomach and gut (intestine). It stops sudden muscle contractions, thereby relieving cramps and pain. Mefenamic Acid is a non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking certain chemical messengers that cause pain, but may damage the stomach lining. Magnesium Trisilicate is an inorganic salt which is added to prevent damage to the stomach lining.
