How it works
Setspas-Fast Injection is a combination of two medicines: Dicyclomine and Diclofenac, which relieves abdominal pain and cramps. Dicyclomine is an anticholinergic which works by relaxing the muscles in the stomach and gut (intestine). It stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms) thereby relieving cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort. Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause abdominal pain and inflammation (swelling).
Caution: It is important to consult your doctor regarding alcohol consumption while taking Setspas-Fast Injection .
Seek medical advice from your doctor: Setspas-Fast Injection is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.

Not Safe: Setspas-Fast Injection may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Setspas-Fast Injection may cause headaches, blurred vision, dizziness or drowsiness in some patients. This may affect your ability to drive.
Caution Advised: Setspas-Fast Injection should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Setspas-Fast Injection may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.
