In Treatment of Dysentery Dysentery is a bacterial or parasitic infection of the intestines in which you pass loose and watery stools with blood and at times some mucus. You may have severe stomach cramps, nausea and vomiting. Satrogyl-O Tablet works by stopping the growth of bacteria and parasites causing infection. It relieves these symptoms and also helps you to stay well by preventing them from coming back. Dysentery can cause loss of water and electrolytes from the body. Therefore it is necessary to drink plenty of fluids and use oral rehydration solutions if necessary to avoid dehydration. In order to prevent the spread of infection, it is advisable to always wash your hands after using the toilet.
