In Prevention of Migraine Roxam Tablet helps improve the flow of blood in your brain and prevents abnormal activity of muscles that triggers migraines. It is a very effective medicine for preventing migraine attacks, however, it does not treat an attack that has already started. By preventing and reducing the frequency migraine attacks, the medicine can help you carry out your daily activities and improve your quality of life.
The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them.
Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Roxam Tablet can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.
Migraine headaches are thought to result from the dilatation of blood vessels in the head. Roxam Tablet is a serotonin antagonist. It works by maintaining the level of serotonin (chemical messenger) in the brain and also prevents loss of tone and dilation of blood vessels, thus preventing the migraine headache.
