How to use Polypod CV Syrup Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Polypod CV Syrup can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.
How Polypod CV Syrup works Polypod CV Syrup is a combination of two medicines: Cefadroxil and Clavulanic Acid. Cefadroxil is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Clavulanic Acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which blocks the action of enzymes produced by bacteria to inactivate cefadroxil. Addition of clavulanic acid reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Cefadroxil against bacteria.

Polypod CV Syrup is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.

If a dose of Polypod CV Syrup is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
