Polycap Capsule is a combination medicine used to prevent heart attack and stroke. It also helps to control blood pressure, increased cholesterol levels and prevent clot formation.Polycap Capsule should be taken with or without food, preferably in the morning to avoid frequent urination at night. It contains Ramipril, Atenolol and Hydrochlorothiazide, that together relax the blood vessels so that blood can flow more easily and also eliminate the excess salts from the body. This lowers your blood pressure and reduces your risk of having a stroke, a heart attack, or kidney problems in the future. It contains Simvastatin that reduces the amount of �bad� cholesterol (LDL) and raises the amount of �good� cholesterol (HDL) in your blood.Besides, it also contains a blood thinner, Aspirin, that prevents the formation of blood clots and also prevents the existing ones from growing bigger in size. Take it regularly and make appropriate lifestyle changes (such as eating healthy and staying active) to maximize the effectiveness of this medicine. Keep taking it even if you feel well.

How Polycap Capsule works Polycap Capsule is a combination of five medicines which include three blood pressure lowering medicines (Ramipril, Atenolol and Hydrochlorothiazide), a lipid lowering medicine (Simvastatin) and an anti-platelet medicine (Aspirin). Together, they lower blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels, optimize cholesterol levels by decreasing �bad� cholesterol (LDL), and prevent the formation of harmful blood clots (platelet aggregation). This reduces the risk of heart diseases and stroke.
Alcohol
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Polycap Capsule 10 Capsule as it is deemed unsafe.
Pregnancy
Polycap Capsule is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.
Breast feeding
Polycap Capsule is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Driving
Polycap Capsule may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Kidney
Polycap Capsule should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Polycap Capsule may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.Use of Polycap Capsule is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Liver

If a dose of Polycap Capsule 10 Capsule is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
