Abdominal pain

In Abdominal pain Parvon Spas Capsule effectively relieves sudden muscle spasms or contractions in the stomach and intestine (gut), thereby relaxing the muscles and improving the movement of food. This helps to treat abdominal pain (or stomach pain) as well as cramps. Take this medicine as directed by your doctor.

Parvon Spas Capsule is a combination of three medicines: Dicyclomine, Dextropropoxyphene and Paracetamol. Dicyclomine is an anti-cholinergic which relaxes the muscles in the stomach and gut (intestine) and stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms). By doing this, it relieves cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort. Dextropropoxyphene is a opioid analgesic (pain reliever). It works by decreasing the perception of pain by blocking the transmission of pain signals to the brain. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and anti-pyretic (fever reducer) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause fever and pain.

Alcohol

Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Parvon Spas Capsule as it is deemed unsafe.

Pregnancy

Seek medical advice from your doctor: Information regarding the use of Parvon Spas Capsule during pregnancy is not available. Doctor consultation is advised.

Breast feeding

Seek medical advice from your doctor: Parvon Spas Capsule is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby. Even small doses of Parvon Spas Capsule can cause infant sleepiness and decreased/altered brain function.

Driving

Seek medical advice from your doctor: It is not known whether Parvon Spas Capsule alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.

Kidney

Caution Advised: Parvon Spas Capsule should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Parvon Spas Capsule may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of Parvon Spas Capsule is not recommended in patients with end stage kidney disease.

Liver

Caution Advised: Parvon Spas Capsule should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Parvon Spas Capsule may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. However, the use of Parvon Spas Capsule is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.

If a dose of Parvon Spas Capsule is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

Parvon Spas Capsule is used for the treatment of abdominal pain. Always use Parvon Spas Capsule as instructed by your doctor. Never take in greater amounts or more often than prescribed. Do not take any other medicines containing Paracetamol in it without consulting your doctor. Store Parvon Spas Capsule in a safe place and out of reach of others.
