Pacigrip D 5mg/250mg Tablet is used to relieve migraine headaches and to treat nausea and vomiting associated with it. This medicine may also be used in ailments where fever is accompanied by vomiting.Give $ to your child orally, preferably 30 minutes before meals. Stick to the dose, time, and way prescribed by your doctor as that depends on your child�s clinical condition, body weight, and age.� In case your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking this medicine, let the child calm down, and then repeat the dose.Pacigrip D 5mg/250mg Tablet should be given at the first sign of a migraine attack. If symptoms persist, further doses may be given but a gap of 4 hours must be maintained between each dose. However, never exceed the total dose that has been prescribed for a day.Diarrhea, rash, restlessness, and drowsiness are some of the common yet temporary side effects of this medicine. Make sure to report to your child�s doctor if the side effects persist or become bothersome for your child.Before giving this medicine to your child, let the doctor know if your child has had any previous episodes of medicine allergy, metabolic disorder, liver impairment, kidney malfunction, asthma, or blood disorder. How it works

How Pacigrip D Tablet works Pacigrip D 5mg/250mg Tablet contains two medicines: Domperidone and Paracetamol. Domperidone is an antiemetic that works on the vomiting center in the brain. It also increases the movement of the muscles of the stomach and intestines, allowing food to move more easily through the stomach. This prevents nausea and vomiting caused due to migraines. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and an antipyretic (fever reducer) which blocks the release of certain chemical messengers that cause the pain associated with migraine.

Pacigrip D 5mg/250mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Pacigrip D 5mg/250mg Tablet is recommended.However, dose adjustments may be required in severe kidney disease. Please consult with your child's doctor before giving the medicine to your child.

Liver

Liver

Pacigrip D 5mg/250mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Pacigrip D 5mg/250mg Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.However, the use of Pacigrip D 5mg/250mg Tablet is not recommended in children with severe liver disease and active liver disease.

What If You Forget to take Pacigrip D 5mg/250mg Tablet?

Remain calm. Unless your child�s doctor has provided specific instructions, administer the missed dose once recalled. If it's nearly time for the next dose, skip the missed one. Adhere to the prescribed dosing schedule and avoid administering a double dose to compensate for the missed one.

Pacigrip D 5mg/250mg Tablet helps to ease the pain you feel during a migraine headache as well as helps to stop you from feeling sick. Dry mouth may occur as a side effect. Frequent mouth rinses, good oral hygiene, increased water intake and sugarless candy may help. Inform your doctor if you are taking any pain relief medicine. Pacigrip D 5mg/250mg Tablet can only decrease the number and severity of attacks but may not completely stop them. Some tips that may help avoid a migraine attack:Have your meals at the same time every day.Avoid bright lights and extreme temperatures.Avoid loud music and noisy places.Avoid chocolates,� cheese, processed food, alcohol, and smoking.Get sufficient sleep and avoid stress.
