How to use Olmibite-Trio Tablet Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Olmibite-Trio 12.5 Tablet is to be taken with food.
How it works
How Olmibite-Trio Tablet works Olmibite-Trio 12.5 Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Olmesartan Medoxomil, Cilnidipine and Chlorthalidone. Olmesartan Medoxomil is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) and Cilnidipine is a calcium channel blocker (CCB). They work by widening and relaxing the blood vessels, thereby lowering blood pressure. Chlorthalidone is a diuretic which removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body through urine. Over time it also works by relaxing blood vessels and improving blood flow.
Not Safe: Consuming alcohol with Olmibite-Trio 12.5 Tablet may lead to excessive drowsiness.
Olmibite-Trio 12.5 Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.
