Prevention of Japanese Encephalitis

In Prevention of Japanese Encephalitis Japanese encephalitis is an infection of the brain caused by the Japanese encephalitis virus (JEV), a virus spread by the bite of infected mosquitoes. In most cases, the infection is mild but in serious cases the symptoms may include headache, vomiting, fever, confusion and seizures.
