How to use Imdox AZ Tablet Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Imdox AZ 200mg/250mg Tablet can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.
How it works
How Imdox AZ Tablet works Imdox AZ 200mg/250mg Tablet is a combination of two antibiotics: Cefpodoxime Proxetil and Azithromycin. Cefpodoxime Proxetil works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of the bacteria. Azithromycin stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Imdox AZ 200mg/250mg Tablet.
Imdox AZ 200mg/250mg Tablet is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Imdox AZ 200mg/250mg Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.There may be a possibility of diarrhea or rash in the baby.
Imdox AZ 200mg/250mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Imdox AZ 200mg/250mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Imdox AZ 200mg/250mg Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.

What if I forget to take it?
If you miss a dose of Imdox AZ 200mg/250mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
