How to use Hyocimax MF Tablet Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Hyocimax MF Tablet is to be taken with food.
How it works
How Hyocimax MF Tablet works Hyocimax MF Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Hyoscine butylbromide and Mefenamic Acid which relieve abdominal pain and cramps. Hyoscine butylbromide is an anti-cholinergic which relaxes the muscles in the stomach and gut (intestine) and stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms). In doing this, it relieves cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort. Mefenamic Acid is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Hyocimax MF Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.
Hyocimax MF Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Doctor consultation is advised.
Hyocimax MF Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
Hyocimax MF Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Hyocimax MF Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Hyocimax MF Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.Use of Hyocimax MF Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
