How to use Flupet-P Tablet Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Flupet-P Tablet is to be taken with food.
How Flupet-P Tablet works Flupet-P Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Flupirtine and Paracetamol, which relieves pain. Flupirtine is an analgesic (pain reliever) which works by blocking transmission of pain signals to the brain to lower pain perception. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and an anti-pyretic (fever reducer) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause fever and pain.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Flupet-P Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.
Flupet-P Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Doctor consultation is advised.
Information regarding the use of Flupet-P Tablet during breastfeeding is not available. Doctor consultation is advised.
It is not known whether Flupet-P Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
Flupet-P Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Flupet-P Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.
Flupet-P Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Flupet-P Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.However, the use of Flupet-P Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.
If a dose of Flupet-P Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
