DR-Stop 200mg/2mg Capsule makes the stool less watery as well as reduces the frequency of loose motions. This helps you to stay well and do your daily activities without any problem. Since diarrhea causes loss of fluid from the body, drink plenty of fluids to make sure you stay hydrated. In Treatment of Dysentery Dysentery is a bacterial or parasitic infection in which you pass loose and watery stools with blood and mucus. You may have severe stomach cramps, nausea, and vomiting. DR-Stop 200mg/2mg Capsule works by stopping the growth of bacteria and parasites causing infection. It relieves these symptoms and also helps you to stay well by preventing them from coming back. In order to prevent the spread of infection, it is advisable to always wash your hands after using the toilet.

Loperamide is an opioid agonist which works by decreasing contraction of the intestines making the stools more solid and less frequent.

Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Not Safe: DR-Stop 200mg/2mg Capsule may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Caution Advised: DR-Stop 200mg/2mg Capsule should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of DR-Stop 200mg/2mg Capsule may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of DR-Stop 200mg/2mg Capsule is not advised in patients with severe kidney disease.
Caution Advised: DR-Stop 200mg/2mg Capsule should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of DR-Stop 200mg/2mg Capsule may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.
If a dose of DR-Stop 200mg/2mg Capsule is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
