In Sneezing and runny nose due to allergies CZ L 5 mg/120 mg Capsule is used to treat an itchy, stuffy or runny nose, sneezing, or other symptoms caused by seasonal hay fever (allergic rhinitis). It works by reducing certain substances in the body called histamines that are responsible for the allergic symptoms. It also reduces swelling inside the nose and thus decreases symptoms such as stuffy nose. This helps in easy breathing and makes you feel better. Drink plenty of liquids, including chicken soup. It can make you feel better.

Pseudoephedrine is a decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels providing temporary relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose.

Alcohol

Pregnancy

Do not discontinue use without consulting your doctor, even if you feel better. If you drink alcohol while you are taking CZ L 5 mg/120 mg Capsule, be aware of its effects on you and do not drink more than moderate amounts. Keep sipping water or try chewing sugar-free gum to get relief from dryness in the mouth. Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medications, e.g., anti-depressants.
