In Treatment of Allergic conditions CPM Injection is used to treat many different inflammatory and allergic conditions such as conjunctivitis and conditions which affect the skin such as urticaria. It works by lowering your immune system?s response to these conditions and prevents the release of substances in the body that cause inflammation. It helps relieve symptoms such as swelling, pain, itching, and other allergic-type reactions. If you are not sure why you are being given this medicine, ask your doctor. It is given as an injection by a doctor or nurse and should not be self-administered. Taking this medicine enables you to live your life more freely without worrying so much about things that set off your symptoms. Because this medicine weakens your immune system, you should avoid being near people who are ill or have infections.
The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them.

CPM Injection is an antiallergic medication. When your body is exposed to an allergen (pollen, animal dander, house dust etc.), it produces a chemical called histamine. This causes watery eyes, runny or blocked nose, sneezing, skin rashes, itching etc. CPM Injection works by blocking the action of histamine, thereby relieving these symptoms.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with CPM Injection as it is deemed unsafe.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: CPM Injection is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: CPM Injection is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby. Larger doses or prolonged use of CPM Injection may cause sleepiness and other effects in the baby
Not Safe: CPM Injection may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: CPM Injection is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of CPM Injection may not be needed in these patients. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of CPM Injection may cause excessive sleepiness in patients with end stage kidney disease.
Seek medical advice from your doctor: There is limited information available on the use of CPM Injection in patients with liver disease. Doctor consultation is advised.
If a dose of CPM Injection is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
