How Capagyl F Syrup works Capagyl F Syrup is a combination of three medicines: Furazolidone, Metronidazole and Simethicone. Furazolidone is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria that cause diarrhoea by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering. Metronidazole is also an antibiotic which kills other infectious microorganisms in addition to bacteria by damaging their DNA. Together, they treat your infection effectively. Simethicone is an antifoaming medicine which disintegrates gas bubbles and allows easy passage of gas.
Unsafe: It is unsafe to consume alcohol while taking Capagyl F Syrup , as it may lead to symptoms such as flushing, increased heart rate, nausea, thirst, chest pain, and low blood pressure, known as a Disulfiram reaction.
