Camopan 100mg Tablet is a prescription medicine used to treat chronic pancreatitis and post-operative reflux esophagitis. It reduces inflammation of the pancreas and prevents the reflux of acid. Camopan 100mg Tablet is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you discontinue treatment prematurely, there is a risk of symptom recurrence and worsening of your condition. Let your doctor know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine. The most common side effects of Camopan 100mg Tablet are nausea, rash, abnormal liver function tests, Increased potassium level in blood, itching, and gastrointestinal discomfort. This medicine may also cause diarrhea, so it is better to take plenty of fluids while taking this medicine as it may help to prevent dehydration. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any of these side effects. Before taking this medicine, you should let your doctor know if you have liver or kidney problems. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult their doctor. Your doctor may advice for regular liver function and complete blood tests while you are taking this medicine.
