In Treatment of Allergic eye disease Borosol Eye Drops helps relieve symptoms of allergic eye disease such as pain, redness, swelling, itching and watering of eyes. It also reduces infection and irritation in the eye due to its antiseptic property. Use it as prescribed to get the most benefit. If you see no improvement even after a week, talk to your doctor. Apart from using eye drops, it is advisable to wash your eyes with luke warm water to reduce discomfort.
The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them.
This medicine is for external use only. Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off extra liquid.
Borosol Eye Drops is a combination of four medicines: Chlorpheniramine Maleate, Naphazoline, Zinc Sulphate Monohydrate and Boric Acid. Chlorpheniramine is an antiallergic which blocks the action of certain chemical messengers responsible for red, itchy, teary eyes. Naphazoline is a decongestant which narrows the blood vessels of the eye to relieve inflammation (redness and swelling). Zinc sulphate monohydrate and boric acid are antiseptics which treat bacterial infection in the eyes and relieve irritation.
