Chloramphenicol is an antibiotic which stops bacterial growth by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Dexamethasone is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the eye red, swollen and itchy.

If you forget a dose of Adc Eye Drop , simply continue with your regular schedule and do not take a double dose.

Adc Eye Drop is used for the treatment of uveitis. You should wash your hands after using the eye drops and great care should be taken to avoid getting the product into the mouth. To avoid contamination, do not touch the dropper tip or let it touch your eye or any other surface. After applying Adc Eye Drop, close your eyes, and place one finger at the corner of your eye. Apply gentle pressure for 1 to 2 minutes before opening your eyes. This will prevent the medication from draining out. Try not to blink or rub your eye. Do not wear contact lenses during treatment and for 24 hours after your last dose. The eye drops should be discarded 4 weeks after the first opening. Inform your doctor if you have been told you have a higher than normal pressure in your eye, or if you have glaucoma. Adc Eye Drop may cause blurred vision which may last for some time. Make sure you can see clearly again before you drive and before you use tools or machines.
