In Blood clots Arreno Capsule ER prevents blood from clotting inside the veins and arteries. This helps the blood flow freely around your body thereby preventing a heart attack or stroke (or deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolism). It helps prevent the formation of blood clots and also prevents the existing ones from growing bigger in size. Take it regularly and make appropriate lifestyle changes (such as eating healthy and staying active) to maximize the effectiveness of this medicine. Keep taking it even if you feel well.

Arreno Capsule ER is a combination of two antiplatelet medicines: Aspirin and Dipyridamole which prevent stroke following an initial first stroke (transient ischaemic attack). It works by preventing platelets from sticking together which decreases the formation of harmful blood clots.

Alcohol

Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Arreno Capsule ER as it is deemed unsafe.

Pregnancy

Seek medical advice from your doctor: Arreno Capsule ER is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.

Breast feeding

Seek medical advice from your doctor: Arreno Capsule ER is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.

Driving

Not Safe: Arreno Capsule ER may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney

Safe when prescribed by an expert: Arreno Capsule ER is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Arreno Capsule ER may not be needed in these patients. Doctor consultation is advised.

Liver

Safe when prescribed by an expert: Arreno Capsule ER is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Arreno Capsule ER may not be needed in these patients. Doctor consultation is advised.

If a dose of Arreno Capsule ER is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

You have been prescribed Arreno Capsule ER for preventing blood clots that cause a stroke. Arreno Capsule ER increases your risk of bleeding. Be careful while shaving, cutting fingernails or toenails, using sharp objects or engaging in contact sports (e.g. football, wrestling). Notify your doctor if you experience stomach pain, nausea or vomiting that doesn't go away. Notify your doctor if you see blood in your vomit, urine or stool (black, tarry stools or bright red blood).
