How to use Acalm Tablet Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Acalm 0.50mg Tablet can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.
How it works
How Acalm Tablet works Acalm 0.50mg Tablet is a benzodiazepine. It works by increasing the action of a chemical messenger (GABA) which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Acalm 0.50mg Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.
Acalm 0.50mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.
Acalm 0.50mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Acalm 0.50mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

What if I forget to take it?
