• Hygiene: Always wash your hands immediately before and after applying the cream to prevent spreading the infection to other parts of your body or to other people.
• Duration: Continue the treatment for the full prescribed duration, even if the symptoms disappear early. Prematurely stopping treatment is the primary reason infections return.

The standard daily dose for fungal skin infections treated with Ketoconazole cream is one application per day or two applications per day, depending on the severity and type of infection. Overdose from the external use of Ketoconazole cream is highly unlikely. Excessive application may only heighten local side effects like irritation or burning. If this occurs, simply wash the area and temporarily stop the application. Accidental ingestion requires immediate medical attention and is the only scenario where an overdose is a concern.

If you forget an application, apply the cream as soon as you remember. If it is already nearly time for the next application, it is best to skip the missed one. Do not apply a double amount to make up for a missed dose; just return to your regular scheduled time.
