In Hypertension (high blood pressure) Telmirose RH 5mg/40mg/12.5mg Tablet relaxes the blood vessels so that blood can flow more easily around your body. It also eliminates excess water from the body and increases urine output. This lowers your blood pressure and reduces your risk of having a stroke, a heart attack, or kidney problems in the future. You do not usually feel any direct benefit from taking this medicine, but it works in the long term to keep you well. You should take it regularly as prescribed for this medicine to be most effective, even if you feel better.
The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them.
Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Telmirose RH 5mg/40mg/12.5mg Tablet can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.
Telmirose RH 5mg/40mg/12.5mg Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Ramipril, Telmisartan and Hydrochlorothiazide which lower blood pressure effectively. Ramipril is an angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. It works by reducing stress on the heart and relaxing blood vessels. Telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) which blocks the hormone angiotensin thereby further relaxing blood vessels. Together, they allow the blood to flow more smoothly and the heart to pump more efficiently. Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic that removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body. Over time it also relaxes blood vessels and improves blood flow.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Telmirose RH 5mg/40mg/12.5mg Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.
Seek medical advice from your doctor: Telmirose RH 5mg/40mg/12.5mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Telmirose RH 5mg/40mg/12.5mg Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Not Safe: Telmirose RH 5mg/40mg/12.5mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Caution Advised: Telmirose RH 5mg/40mg/12.5mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Telmirose RH 5mg/40mg/12.5mg Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Regular monitoring of blood pressure is recommended for dose adjustment.
