Rosid Plus 150mg/60mg Tablet contains two different medicines, Roxithromycin and Ambroxol, that work together to kill the bacteria that cause respiratory tract infections. Roxithromycin works by stopping the growth of bacteria. Ambroxol helps to loosen thick mucus, making it easier to cough out. This makes it easier for air to move in and out. It also enhances the activity of Roxithromycin against bacteria.It usually makes you feel better within a few days, but you should continue taking it as prescribed even when you feel better to make sure that all bacteria are killed and do not become resistant.

How to use Rosid Plus Tablet Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Rosid Plus 150mg/60mg Tablet can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.
How Rosid Plus Tablet works Rosid Plus 150mg/60mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Roxithromycin and Ambroxol which treat respiratory tract infection associated with excessive mucus (phlegm). Roxithromycin is a macrolide antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins which are required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Ambroxol is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Addition of Ambroxol enhances the antibacterial effect of Roxithromycin.
