In Hypertension (high blood pressure) Nodon CH 12.5 Tablet relaxes the blood vessels so that blood can flow more easily around your body. It also eliminates excess water from the body and increases urine output. This lowers your blood pressure and reduces your risk of having a stroke, a heart attack, or kidney problems in the future. You do not usually feel any direct benefit from taking this medicine, but it works in the long term to keep you well. You should take it regularly as prescribed for this medicine to be most effective, even if you feel better.
The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them.
Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Nodon CH 12.5 Tablet is to be taken with food.
Nodon CH 12.5 Tablet is a combination of two blood-pressure lowering medicines: Nebivolol and Chlorthalidone. Nebivolol is a beta blocker which works specifically on the heart to reduce heart rate and make the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body. Chlorthalidone is a diuretic which lowers blood pressure by removing extra water and certain electrolytes from the body. Over time it also relaxes blood vessels and improves blood flow.

Caution Advised: Nodon CH 12.5 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Nodon CH 12.5 Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of Nodon CH 12.5 Tablet is not recommended in these patients.

If a dose of Nodon CH 12.5 Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
