Nitroxin 2.5mg Tablet works quickly to relax the muscles and blood vessels in your heart so more blood (and oxygen) gets to your heart. This reduces the pain and discomfort that angina causes.You should take this medicine at the first sign of chest pain. If the first tablet does not work, you can take a second tablet after 5 minutes. However, if your chest pain does not go away after 15 minutes, you should get urgent medical attention. This could be a sign of a heart attack. Nitroxin 2.5mg Tablet also helps prevent chest pain if taken before exercising or doing other strenuous activities.

How to use Nitroxin Tablet Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Nitroxin 2.5mg Tablet can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.
How it works
How Nitroxin Tablet works Nitroxin 2.5mg Tablet is a nitrate. It works by relaxing the blood vessels and increasing the supply of blood and oxygen to the heart while reducing its work load, thereby preventing/treating attacks of angina (chest pain).
Unsafe: It is unsafe to consume alcohol while taking Nitroxin 2.5mg Tablet , as it may lead to symptoms such as flushing, increased heart rate, nausea, thirst, chest pain, and low blood pressure, known as a Disulfiram reaction.
Nitroxin 2.5mg Tablet is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Nitroxin 2.5mg Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Nitroxin 2.5mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Nitroxin 2.5mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Nitroxin 2.5mg Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Doctor consultation is advised.
There is limited information available on the use of Nitroxin 2.5mg Tablet in patients with liver disease. Doctor consultation is advised.
What if I forget to take it?
If a dose of Nitroxin 2.5mg Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
