Ezevas 10mg/10mg Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Atorvastatin and ezetimibe. Atorvastatin is a lipid-lowering medicine which prevents your body from making "bad" cholesterol (LDL) while raising "good" cholesterol (HDL) levels. Ezetimibe is a cholesterol absorption inhibitor which prevents absorption of cholesterol from the intestines. Together, they provide better reduction of cholesterol in your body.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Ezevas 10mg/10mg Capsule as it is deemed unsafe.
Not Safe: Ezevas 10mg/10mg Capsule is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.
Seek medical advice from your doctor: Ezevas 10mg/10mg Capsule is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Not Safe: Ezevas 10mg/10mg Capsule may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Ezevas 10mg/10mg Capsule is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Ezevas 10mg/10mg Capsule is recommended.
Caution Advised: Ezevas 10mg/10mg Capsule should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Ezevas 10mg/10mg Capsule may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of Ezevas 10mg/10mg Capsule is not recommended in patients with moderate to severe liver disease.
If a dose of Ezevas 10mg/10mg Capsule is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
