In Medical abortion Abokit Tablet is used to cause an abortion during the early part of a pregnancy. It is used up to week 10 of pregnancy (up to 70 days after the first day of your last menstrual period). This medicine effectively blocks the natural female hormone, called progesterone, that is needed for your pregnancy to continue. Please use it only as advised by the doctor.
The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them.

Abokit Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Mifepristone and Misoprostol, which causes abortion. Mifepristone blocks the effects of progesterone, a natural female hormone that is needed for the pregnancy to sustain. Without this hormone, the lining of the uterus (womb) breaks down as it does during a menstrual period and stops the growth of the pregnancy. Misoprostol increases contractions of the uterus to cause abortion.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Abokit Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.
Not Safe: Abokit Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.
Not Safe: Abokit Tablet is unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Data suggests that the drug may cause toxicity to the baby.
Not Safe: Abokit Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Seek medical advice from your doctor: There is limited information available on the use of Abokit Tablet in patients with kidney disease. Doctor consultation is advised.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Abokit Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Abokit Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Doctor consultation is advised.
