How Zonesta Tablet works Zonesta 5mg Tablet is a nonbenzodiazepine hypnotic. Along with sedative, it may also have anxiolytic (panic-reducing or�antianxiety), muscle relaxant properties. It works by binding GABA-A/chloride ion channel receptor complex�(receptor), thus relaxes the nerves and brain. This is how it helps you to fall asleep.
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Zonesta 5mg Tablet.
Zonesta 5mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Doctor consultation is advised.
Zonesta 5mg Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Zonesta 5mg Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.
Zonesta 5mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Zonesta 5mg Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.Limited information is available on the use of Zonesta 5mg Tablet in these patients. No dose adjustment is recommended in patients with mild to moderate kidney disease.
Zonesta 5mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Zonesta 5mg Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.Use of Zonesta 5mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
If you miss a dose of Zonesta 5mg Tablet, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.nn
