In Treatment of Bacterial infections Vincef 100 Tablet is an antibiotic medicine. It is commonly given to children to treat a wide range of bacterial infections, including infections of the eyes, middle ear, nose, throat, lungs, skin, bone and joints, gastrointestinal tract, and urinary tract. This medicine inhibits the growth of infection-causing bacteria by stopping them from multiplying. Children usually start showing improvement within 3 to 5 days of the regular dosing. You must continue giving the medicine even after seeing this improvement because stopping the medicine abruptly may worsen your child?s condition or cause infection recurrence.
The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them.
How can I give Vincef 100 Tablet to my child?Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Vincef 100 Tablet can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.
Vincef 100 Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Cefixime and Lactobacillus. Cefixime is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Lactobacillus is a live microorganism that restores the balance of good bacteria in the intestine that may get upset with antibiotic use or due to intestinal infections.
Caution Advised: Vincef 100 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Vincef 100 Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Vincef 100 Tablet is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of Vincef 100 Tablet is recommended. However, consult with your child€™s doctor before giving this medicine to your child in case of a severe form of liver disease.
Remain calm. Unless your child�s doctor has provided specific instructions, administer the missed dose once recalled. If it's nearly time for the next dose, skip the missed one. Adhere to the prescribed dosing schedule and avoid administering a double dose to compensate for the missed one.
